TG-10 Tenor Acoustic Guitar Natural

Gold Tone

collapse expand iconDescription

The TG-10 is a more affordable tenor guitar, but still has low string action and great tone. The body is laminated wood. It has a bolt-on neck for easy neck resets and is set up exactly like its big brother, the TG-18. It includes a heavily padded bag, and is the perfect complement instrument for guitarists wanting to flirt with the 4-string style. Four strings afford the player with a superb way to play chord solos, as you have a finger for each string. Also a favorite instrument for tenor banjo players!

All of the beauty of the guitar with the gentle learning curve of a ukulele. Crazy fun to play in small-group "campfire" style settings. I have owned three different tenor guitars (along with a few regular guitars and a ukulele) but my Gold Tone was always my favorite. It sounds good strummed but really shines when fingerpicked.

What guage strings would I use to string it like a uke in low GCEA and High GCEA to let me use the same chords?

This guitar comes strung CGDA, whereas I would like to string it for GDAE (irish tuning). What strings should I purchase that will fit on the guitar?
