The Gretsch Drums Renown 5-piece shell pack is a high-performance drum set that combines Gretsch's celebrated craftsmanship with innovative features for enhanced sound and feel. The Renown shell pack includes a 22" x 18" bass drum, 12" x 8" and 10" x 7" tom drums, a 16" x 16" floor tom and a 6.5" x 14" snare drum.

Black Nickel Over Steel Snare Delivers Crisp Response

A highlight of this shell pack is its 6.5" x 14" snare drum. Its black nickel over steel shell delivers a focused, sensitive response with outstanding projection. Combined with triple-flange hoops and 20-strand snare wires, this snare produces a lively crack that cuts through any mix.

The Renown is thoughtfully designed for superior playability. Its suspension tom mounts isolate drums to reduce crosstalk and sympathetic vibrations.     i am blown away by the sound of the renown! put coated emperors on the toms and a super kick 1 on the bass drum and they sound better than most any usa gretsch ive ever owned. the only draw back is the double tom holder isnt as stable as say a tama, dw or pearl, and the spur tubes came dented right outta the box. .no harm no foul. the black steel snare is a winner

    This drum kit replaced my old kit. The old kit was good but this one is outstanding.
