collapse expand iconDescription

The Gretsch Jim Dandy Deltoluxe Concert acoustic-electric guitar brings you back to the glory days of old-time music with its compact concert body and array of period-correct appointments. Designed for players seeking a versatile, easy-playing acoustic-electric for all occasions, this Gretsch channels vintage Americana inspiration into every aspect of its build. With a comfortable concert body made from laminated sapele, plus a smooth-playing neck and Gretsch Jim Dandy Deltoluxe Soundhole pickup, the Deltoluxe Concert acoustic-electric guitar gives you resonant acoustic tones and adaptable amplified sound.

Vintage-Inspired Concert Body for Comfortable Playing Feel

The compact concert body shape of the Gretsch Jim Dandy Deltoluxe concert acoustic-electric guitar offers comfortable ergonomics for hours of inspired playing. The small upper and lower bouts fit nicely against your body in a seated position. When standing, you can easily reach all areas of the smooth sapele neck and walnut fingerboard. The modest 24.75" scale length reduces hand stretch for chord and lead playing. The slimmer nut width provides a familiar feel for steel-string players. With its lightweight build and manageable dimensions, the Gretsch concert acoustic-electric guitar is an ideal choice for younger players too.

Laminated Sapele Construction Provides Balanced Tone & Durability

The top, back and sides of the Deltoluxe Jim Dandy Concert are crafted from laminated sapele, a tonewood valued for its balanced sound. You get a vintage-inspired blend of warmth and articulation. Sapele's laminated construction also makes the guitar more resistant to climate changes and everyday wear and tear—ideal for gigging and practice. Underneath, X-bracing aids resonance to let the sapele body sing.

Deltoluxe Magnetic Soundhole Pickup Captures Natural Acoustic Tones

Plug in the Jim Dandy Deltoluxe Concert anytime with its built-in Gretsch Deltoluxe magnetic soundhole pickup. Developed with Fishman, it accurately conveys the guitar's woody resonance and organic tone. Simply turn the volume knob to blend in the pickup. You can amplify your sound seamlessly for performing live, recording in the studio or using effects pedals. The pickup preserves the guitar's unplugged character.

Walnut Fingerboard & Vintage-Style Bridge Enhances the Vintage Vibe

Up top, the smooth walnut fingerboard has a comfortable nut width of 1.6875", making chords and solos a breeze. Vintage-style fingerboard inlays complete the retro esthetic. The pinned walnut bridge matches the fingerboard, providing vintage looks and balanced string-to-body coupling. Open-gear tuning machines keep the Jim Dandy Deltoluxe Concert in tune through countless jam sessions.

Amazing guitar for the money. I have several guitars that are much more expensive and only play home. Hands down this is the best guitar for the money and the quality what you would expect in more expensive guitars. The sound is great unplugged or plugged in.

Sold my Gretsch A/E a few months back and was looking for a replacement. I tried several much higher priced guitars in this category and this one was head and shoulders above the rest. A fun little, well built guitar that I'm looking forward to aging with.

This is a great parlor style blues guitar that sounds great with the Gretsch pickup that is on the sound hole, it sounds amazing for such a small bodied guitar . Also great for slide playing and at an affordable price. A must have for any guitar player. Would definitely recommend to a friend

Would this guitar be good for a small woman with small hands? If not does this company make the same guitar in a smaller size?
