When i received the guitar, there was a little too much relief in the neck. That was the only issue. Corrected that and it plays beautifully. My buddies with vintage Gibson hummingbirds are jealous. I haven't had to adjust it at all since the initial setup in 5 years.

I bought this guitar because they didn't give me a delivery response on the purchase order for an epiphone hummingbird. I had to look for another option and I read that it had good references and Grestsch is a renowned brand. But I got a guitar with serious problem on guitar neck and bridge, which can't be adjusted by calibrating. I am totally disappointed with my purchase and the service, because it was not my first choice, I expected better attention and a product of a certain quality because it was for sale at Guitar Center.

  • Yes I would absolutely buy this product again.

Beautiful craftsmanship. The neck and fret board make for easy and comfortable play-ability and has great tone for the price!

I gave this guitar a guitar glowing review some time ago, it has held up well over the last couple of years and given lots of use. I feel compelled to update the review though since I had a professional set-up done. The action is now on par with an electric guitar, no buzz anywhere on the neck, the tone is great and very useable for any style appropriate for acoustic guitar. I just can't believe I have such a great guitar for the small investment. Actually, I haven't seen another example of this particular guitar in a store since I bought this, I may have just accidentally got the opposite of a lemon. If you can find this guitar in a shop, it's a must play, It's a great guitar at any price.

I have several guitars (Martin, Takamime, Gibson) although at a lower price point its sounds terrific both unplugged and through my PA. The Fishman electronics are great and at true acoustic sound. The finish and workmanship could not be better. It's a beautiful guitar and feels good.

You will have to bring the guitar in and have it appraised for the trade in value.
