Great Guitar!
Guild F-2512e So I did a lot of online research for a 12 string acoustic. My personal preference is a Taylor 12. For me that's what I compare most 12's to. I tried the Takamine G Series EG523SC-12 and I had narrowed everything, cheaper, down to these 2. I had played the Guild at a Guitar Center and was pleasantly suprised at its playablity, but I had trouble finding a Takamine to play. The more I read and listened online I gravitated towards the Tak. I got it online at Guitar Center with the thought that if I didn't like it I could take it back and deal with them at a store. Best thing I could've done because that's exactly what I ended up doing. The Takamine 12 has a very big design flaw. If your looking for low playable action you will NOT find it in a Takamine 12. The whole saddle/pickup assembly prevents you from lowering the action very much. I was able to take it back and they let me trade it almost straight acoss for the Guild F-2512e. I got the 3 year warranty on which is an awesome thing to be able to do on a used guitar. I got the blonde back as opposed to the brown back version. All I did was adjust the truss rod a little and man it is close to Taylor playability. and Yes I have a Taylor 6 string. I will eventually get a Taylor 12, when I can afford it, but for now this guitar is awesome. The sound obviously is not as nice as a high end guitar, but the neck sure is. I read a lot of bad reviews about the pickup in it so I'm just going to put an lr baggs lyric in it and a nice bone saddle and it should do very nicely. Great Guitar!

Dont buy the Guild f-251,,12 string Guitar
This is the worst guitar for the money I have ever purchased. My brother took sick just before it was delivered. I never got a chance to check this guitar before the time expires. Where should I start. To say this guitar's flyncey is an understatement. The neck is very uneven! The body is so thin even at its great size it cannot give a deep tone. The head of this guitar is heavier than the whole guitar. I see positive reviews on this guitar and I wonder which cartoon characters are posting them or if they are even real. The sound system is is pathetic! It does not matter which amplifier or PA system I play it through it is totally inadequate. And it is incapable of being used in any type of venue through any type of sound system. Why put it in there at all. Guild should be ashamed of itself!!!!! If you are looking for a quality guitar at a reasonable price that plays well! THIS ISN'T IT!

I'd read glowing reviews but when I actually played this guitar I was sold. The sound is excellent, the quality of workmanship is excellent, and the value can't be beat.

I have always loved playing a 12-string and the jumbo body gives a full sound you just can't get from your average 12-string.

GC offers a fine deal on this beautiful Guild 12-string guitar that sounds incredible and plays very well. Turns out I'm not a jumbo guitar body guy. That said, the Guild F-2512E is a wonderful instrument for the jumbo in you!
Phenomenal tone!

This jumbo 12 string has the best tone. Though, the electronic side will require a processor to sound decent. I plan on installing a better system.
Guild Guitar F-2512E

Great guitar with a very peculiar tone that sounds like two guitars instead of one. I played a Guild many, many years ago and when I played this new 12 string it reminded me a lot of that unique guild sound. Recommended for the collection. I cannot stop playing it.

Is this really an acoustic/electric? I see no plugs in the picture, and the last 12-string acoustic electric I bought from you was a pure acoustic.
Yes, the Guild F-2512E Jumbo is officially an acoustic-electric guitar. It comes equipped with a Guild/Fishman Sonitone pickup system. However, the input jack (where you would plug in your cable) is combined with the strap button on the bottom of the guitar — that's why you don't see a traditional side-mounted jack or control panel in many photos.submitted7 months ago
