The Guild B-50 acoustic bass guitar dates to the mid-1970s models that featured the jumbo body shape, arched mahogany back, and an easy-to-play 30 3/4” scale length. The Guild Jumbo B-240E acoustic-electric is an extension of that popular series, designed for bass players. Features of the Guild Jumbo B-240E include a solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides, which when combined create incredible acoustic tone. Further amplifying that acoustic tone is the onboard Fishman-designed electronics.

Short-Scale Bass Offers Comfortable Playability

With a shorter 30 3/4” scale length, the Guild Jumbo B-240E is a very comfortable and easy acoustic bass guitar to play. Pick it up once and you’ll likely never want to put it down. The slim C-shape neck profile also makes it easier to reach the upper frets. The Guild Jumbo B-240E also features a Pau Ferro fingerboard and bridge, and a bone nut and bone saddle. The package is complete with a natural satin finish.
