This is a well made quality instrument which surprised me given its price. They could easily ask more for it.

Awesome bass guitar - great sound, audible, and fun to play. Originally purchased so that I could practice at night on my porch or just walk around the house jamming, but turns out, its small size broadens my reach to hit notes, and chords I couldn't do before. Super awesome to play.
Perfect for hassle-free, spontaneous playing

My first acoustic bass, but I'm very happy with the look, build, and sound qualities of this bass. Very comfortable to play and the perfect instrument to work out a bass line while on the couch watching the tube.

The longer I play with it the more I like it. I was not a fan of the strings when I first got it. I'm still not, but as the strings broke in it started sounding better. The E string did not have the same tone and tember as the rest, but it is improving. None of the string makers I contacted have any options so I'm considering having custom strings made or taking a shot at making some myself. I play flatwounds on my other basses so the occasional string screech is a little bothersome. I got this for playing primarily on the couch and it sits on a stand within easy reach. And I reach for it often because it so comfortable play on the couch. I tried using one of my 30" short scale bases and a small amp and it was awkward. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it is easier for me to improvise and create different shapes on it as well. It's shorter scale makes it really easy to play lounged out on the couch. Also, I played it through a Fender Rumble 40 with a couple guys today and I and they were impressed at how well it sounded playing songs from the '60's. I eventually went back to my Fender Mustang but was really impressed at how well the Junior Jumbo sounded and played. I'm glad I gave it a shot. I was concerned it might be a problem switching between 30" short scale to the 23.5", but it's not a big deal. Fit and finish is excellent with only one little tiny dark spot in the grain right at the edge of the binding. I'm trying to convince myself it's like Cindy Crawford's beauty mark.

I have been looking at getting an acoustic bass for some time. I am mostly an acoustic guitar player, and really liked the shorter scale and smaller size of this bass. I don't have huge hands so this works well for me. It sounds good plugged in, and has plenty of presence in a small picking circle. It isn't booming but it works great for what I needed!
Love it!
