The Guitar Center Lessons Guitar For Kids is a fun, easy course that teaches children to play guitar faster than ever before. Popular songs such as “Yellow Submarine,” “Hokey Pokey,” “I'm a Believer,” “Surfin' U.S.A.,” “This Land Is Your Land” and “Hound Dog” keep students motivated, and the clean, simple page layouts ensure their attention remains focused on one concept at a time.

The method is equally suitable for students using electric or acoustic guitars. The accompanying online audio contains more than 30 tracks for demonstration and play-along and is accessed using the unique code printed inside each book. No tablature included.

Book includes PLAYBACK+, a multi-functional audio player that allows you to slow down audio without changing pitch, set loop points, change keys, pan left or right – exclusively available from Hal Leonard.

    A perfect stater Guitar book for a young beginner . Breaks the lesson down so a young beginner can understand . It contains illustration that are very clear and easy to understand . I would recommend to any one who wants to start a child on their journey to playing a guitar . A great book at a great price .

    I bought this book to get my granddaughter started on guitar. It combines playing chords and single notes. The recorded accompaniments are are appealing to a 9 year old. This helps get the two handed coordination down while making it fun. After a few chords are learned, it is easy to add chords.
