Jeff Ocheltree transitioned from replaceable roadie to invaluable drum tech by being the first person to take complete care of all aspects of the drums, in the glory days of such legends as Bonham and Cobham. In his first instructional DVD, he discusses his experiences and teaches techniques valuable to drum techs and all drummers-with hands-on examples using 9 different kits and 9 drummers. Jeff also discusses the unique bronze drums he makes from recycled cymbals. As a special bonus, John Bonham's kit used in Zeppelin recordings appears on-screen for the first time ever, and Bonzo's settings, tunings, and mic placements are revealed! 60 minutes.

I turned to this DVD for help on tuning but it doesnt provide much help. The only thing that it had to say about any type of tuning, is regarding felts to muffle a bass drum. But it does not teach you any tuning techniques, mostly has several drummers playing drums and the narrator, Jeff, mainly introduces his friends that play, but dont give much advice about tuning. The best you get is "I like a drum that has a deep sound." Does he show you how to do this? No he doesnt. Overall I would'nt really give it a star but that's as low as I can rate it. Find yourself another DVD.
