Man is this a " Great " learning tool, I wish I had this back when I was starting out. would have saved me a lot of time. If you want to really learn to play this is the tool to do that, Zakk shows you step by step and you feel NO! presure at all!!! Thank you Zakk!!!

This Guitar Apprentice series knows how to make learning fun. They kind of take a Guitar Hero/Rockband approach to learning. Once you get oriented with what's happening on the screen, you're off and learning! It's very cool with some skull graphics to take your mind off any theory that might feel intimidating. I like that both notes and tablature are shown, and you have so many options, speeds, and skill levels. Can't wait to see what Guitar Apprentice comes up with next!

I just got this set which to my surprise was well on time with the planned release date. This set will teach you how to play Crazy Horse, Overlord, Parade of the Dead. They have varying levels of increased difficulty. Zakk really breaks down what he is doing in each song and why he uses a specific tuning during each song. One part of the video I caught him making a slight mistake but that lets all of us guitar players know we are not perfect and that famous players tend to have our mistakes also. This was the first Guitar Apprentice set I have bought. Since this purchase I am going to buy more and subscribe to their website. If your serious about playing this set is for you.
