All though everything about it works great, unfortunately I was sent a used mixer when I thought I would be getting a brand new unit. Other than that I'd recommend it as a nice mixer to start out with if you're thinking of getting into gigging or anything in general!

I only use this mixer for wedding ceremonies if I require more than the two inputs on the back of my active speaker. Especially if I have more than two microphones. It was inexpensive and definitely gets the job done. Sounds good. Even the built in reverb. It even has Bluetooth so I can play background music from my tablet wirelessly which makes life much easier because I can be mobile. So far I am really happy with it for the price.

I bought this to replace a very old Mackie 12 channel mixer. I use these small mixers for practice, Karaoke, showing movies and misc small events. I was really impressed with the EQ controls. They don't have a lot of range but really did a nice job. Very smooth EQ. The FX are surprisingly good. For such an inexpensive mixer, I get usable reverb and slap echo. I have no real complaints but I wish it had mute buttons. With that, it would be perfect. The sound of the mixer is way better than expected for such an affordable mixer. Last night I used it for karaoke with 2 wireless mics, 2 wired mics and music. Unexpectedly, over 200 people showed up. My peeps said the sound was great. I would buy again.

This is a great item at this price point. Missing many of the functions that come with the higher end products but considering the price this is good buy!

I want to use this for private vocal practice. So I want to use headphones or my IEM's instead of speakers. I see that the FX will not work in the monitor send. If I instead use a dual xlr to 1/4 inch adapter out of the mains and plug my headphones or IEM's into that, will I be able to get FX in them? I hope this question makes sense. Thanks!

Yes, your understanding is correct. The Harbinger LV12 mixer routes its built-in digital effects (FX) only to the Main Mix and Control Room outputs, not to the Monitor Send. Therefore, if you connect your headphones or in-ear monitors (IEMs) to the Main Outputs using a dual XLR to 1/4" adapter, you'll be able to hear the FX during your private vocal practice. Setup for Hearing FX in Headphones/IEMs Connect Headphones/IEMs: Use a dual XLR to 1/4" adapter to connect your headphones or IEMs to the Main Outputs of the mixer. Adjust Levels: Channel Level: Set the level control for your microphone channel to an appropriate level. Main Mix Level: Adjust the main mix level to ensure a comfortable listening volume. Enable FX: FX Send: Turn up the FX send knob on your microphone channel to send the signal to the internal effects processor. FX Return: Adjust the FX return level to blend the effect into the main mix. Monitor Safely: Start with low volume settings to prevent any sudden loud sounds that could harm your hearing. By following this setup, you'll be able to monitor your vocals with the desired effects applied.

Please see: Boss FS-5U – A standard momentary (non-latching) footswitch; works reliably for FX switching. Roland DP-2 – Compact and momentary; commonly used for sustain but compatible with mixers like the LV12. Yamaha FC5 – Another momentary pedal, often used for keyboards but also compatible with footswitch FX inputs. Hosa FSC-502 – A budget-friendly, normally-open momentary footswitch designed for simple on/off control.

I’m very sorry. Your question is not clear. This has line outputs, not speaker outputs. You can run as many powered speakers as you want but not from the board.

Are the individual monitor sends pre fader? I'm using IEM's. So If I plug the monitor send from Front of the house into Channel 4 and have that channels Main volume off does the monitor send in that channel still work?

No. You would need to run a line out to a separate monitor source.
