cheap, yet works well
best for the price. All the notes worked okay. Little air required to play. Great to teach a group of beginners with. shipping stated 5 to 7 days, they arrived the second day.

The price is good, but several notes didn't work. Leaked air really bad. Completely disappointed in the quality. I thought maybe I could have a knock around fun harmonica.... it went in the trash. This harmonica is good for a little kid to blow milk bubbles through while watching cartoons. I recommend spending at least $20+ if you want something decent for learning. If the harmonica bug really bites, get a Hohner 542 Golden Melody, Hohner 1896 Marine Band or Suzuki Promaster Valved.

I buy 10 Hohner Blues Band harmonicas each year to teach a small class of students. They work great for beginners. We learn 8-10 songs and play them at our recorder performance of 100 students (age 8). The harmonica portion is always a crowd pleaser.
Excellent choice for beginners.

Everything about this harmonica is awesome! I bought it for my 18 month old and he loves it! The key that it is in, "C" I believe, is not annoying to hear and is not hard to learn to play.
Needed to replace one from my set.
