Housed in a padded zippered case, these harmonicas offer superior intonation, enhanced flexibility and an unparalleled tone that suits any music genre. For over 150 years, Hohner has been crafting high-quality harmonicas, and this set makes an excellent gift for yourself or any aspiring musician. Premium Components Yield Exceptional Sound
Handcrafted in Germany, the Special 20 harmonicas feature precision-milled combs and covers as well as robust brass reeds that provide an airtight seal for maximum volume and projection. The reeds are securely mounted to the comb with screws instead of nails, allowing enhanced tuning accuracy and quicker response. These premium components work in harmony to deliver a bold yet balanced tone with a warm, resonant timbre suited to any style.
Durable Plastic Comb For Comfortable Playing
The Special 20's injection-molded plastic comb is smooth, durable and resistant to moisture absorption, ensuring consistent performance over years of regular use. Its ergonomic shape provides a comfortable mouthpiece and hand position for extended playing sessions. The comb's recessed profile also allows for easier note bending and overblowing techniques.
Zippered Case Keeps Harmonicas Protected
This Hohner set includes a padded nylon case with interior pockets sized to hold up to seven standard 10-hole harmonicas. A hook-and-loop fastener secures the harmonicas in place during transport while the sturdy zipper keeps them protected from the elements. Multiple handles make the lightweight case easy to grab and go, whether heading to a gig or jam session.

Special 20 Play Great
The Hohner SP20 is the best harp I have tried so far. I have a Bushman Delta Frost and an MS Bluesmaster. Both of these are good harps as well, but the special 20 plays easier than the others I have. These are great harps for beginners because of how easily they play, but they are also a professional quality instrument. That is one of the greatest things about them is that no matter how long you play you can use the SP20. Please keep in mind that there are certain holes on certain keys of harmonicas that will require a VERY exact mouth and tongue position (embouchure) to sound clearly. Please don't give up or blame the instrument. Just get some good instruction online or in person. We need more harmonica players.

Very disappointing. Horrible.
Very disappointing. The Key of C harmonica had fully working reeds but all the others had at least one or two reeds that did not function. I have tried knocking and washing them to no avail. I have purchased many other different models of Honer harmonicas from Guitar Center and this seems to be the standard. Not sure if Honer is going downhill or maybe they just give Guitar Center the trash harmonicas but somewhere the quality is terrible and I don't know how they became known for such good quality products. I should have probably just thrown the money in the trash. Now I've spent a couple hundred dollars on Honer several harmonicas that don't work and I am thinking I will hang up the hobby.

These are great for intermediate players. They took my single note playing to the next level , which in the process made my playing more enjoyable. I may have waited to long to upgrade my harps, don't make the same mistake.

I have dabbled in harmonica for years. I am drummer but I love harmonica. I have always wanted to play like John Lennon and Sir Mick Jagger. I feel this product will help me achieve that

Hohner Really Cheapened The Case

I first purchase this 5-pack with the case in 2011. I've really liked having my full line of harps at the ready, along with a nice, plush carrying case. I decided to buy another set, so that I could keep one set in my band's practice room, and the other for home & travel. While the harps were just fine, the case now included is a pale comparison of the one that I received in 2011. The case that came with the set in 2011 was well made, roomy, and sported the Hohner name on the outside of the case. This case is cheap feeling, much smaller (you have to wedge the harps into their slots), and has no name on it. Really disappointed in the new case.

These are the harps that I have played for years. I will continue to play them because of quality, sound, and value.
