Just what I needed...

Purchased a VOX amPlug Bass Headphone Amplifier for use with my Ibanez SR370 Bass. This angled adapter allows a secure, no stress connection when using the male 1/4" connector of the VOX unit or the main 1/4" amplifier cable connector. Without the angled adapter and due to the location/depth of the line out of my guitar, I would not have been able to use the VOX amPlug without this adapter.

JUNK - Do not buy

I bought a few of these to use with my guitar effects pedals because most of my cables were straight jacks, so needed 90 degree adapters like these to allow for saving space on my pedal board. But these have proven to be TOO UNRELIABLE TO USE. Their female socket does not make a reliable connection with the male jack on my cable. They either lose connection or make a noisy connection and touching them in any slight way changes the connection integrity from ok, to static to disconnected. Garbage.

Had to return it after a week as it broke. Thought by the look of it that it would hold up but it didn't.

I run 5 EHX pedals (B9, C9, Key 9, and two Mel 9s), and carry them in an old hard plastic toolbox lined with foam. I run the guitar into a Sound Sculpture Switchblade 8, then run a Hosa CSS-803 8-channel 1/4" TRS Male Snake out to the EHX pedals, and run the pedal outputs using another identical snake to a Rolls RM203x line mixer, which then runs to the main mixer. The snake only comes with straight plugs, and I needed angled plugs to save space in the pedal box. These did the trick just fine.

  • I could it again when I need

Use it every day because I practice with different guitars.

  • Buy more than you need, because half of them won't work

I ordered four of these. Two were dead on arrival, no contact between the tip of the cable and the adapter. If you can afford to buy twice as much stuff as you need to get the job done, try this product. Otherwise, run away.
