Classic Humes and Berg styling in a euphonium/baritone horn straight mute. It sports the familiar red and white styling with a cork stripe that makes for a snug fit in all common baritone horn and euphonium bells. The resistance is close to a free blow, and it delivers a nicely thinned timbre that is great for passages calling for straight mute. The end of the mute flares out to the cap, unlike the 210.

    This mute, as pictured, does NOT fit in a baritone horn. I bought one and have returned it. It is not at all snug, and it sticks way out (too long). It does not mute at all. Is this a joke? It looks like it might fit a trombone?
