Ibanez Altstar ALT30 - Acoustic Electric guitar

Description
Sapele Back and Sides for Full and Bright Tone
The sapele back and sides offer a full-bodied and warm mid-range and a bright tone, while the spruce top adds pristine tonal clarity. The Walnut bridge transfers string vibration directly to the body, delivering a natural and warm tone. The Ibanez Undersaddle Pickup accurately reproduces the acoustic nature of the bass, and the Ibanez AEQ-2UT preamp features a convenient onboard tuner.
Premium Appointments for the Serious Musician
The Ibanez Advantage bridge pins have an advantage over old-fashioned pins. Advantage pins are easier to take out and easier to put in than standard pins. A special bulb-shaped end makes the pin easy to grip and prevents the pin from being pushed in too far. Best of all, with Advantage the pin and string stay put.
Storied History From Ibanez for Premium Guitars
Ibanez has historically offered acoustic instruments that electric guitarists would find inviting and easy to play. Ibanez Altstar models are the perfect option for the aspiring electric player with a drive to explore the world of acoustic guitars. Whether you’re just looking to delve into the world of acoustic guitars, or you are seeking a quieter practice option while maintaining an electric guitar feel, this is your axe.

Cheap bridge, needed repairs immediately

The strings it was set up with gouged into the bridge, creating an awful buzzing sound any time it was played. While the neck feels great, the bridge buzzing made it unplayable without repairs.
Legit guitar for the price point.

Bought this at my local GC. For the price I'm pretty happy with it. Fretboard is straight enough, fretwork is clean enough, action is low enough. Tone is decent. My favorite thing though is the neck is an electric guitar profile which makes it much easier to practice my electric tunes on than a normal acoustic guitar. For that, I would recommend.
