Ibanez BTB805MS 5-String Multi-Scale Electric Bass Transparent Gray Flat

Description
Its sound is driven by a set of T1 pickups, each with separate dual-coil construction to provide tight bottom-end, punchy mid-range and smooth response. Play across genres with their versatility, or dial into a specific tone by adjusting the height of each single coil individually for detailed sound sculpting. The EQ bypass control offers precision tonal adjustments, including a switch to choose passive-only operation. When the EQ bypass is activated, the treble tone control knob becomes the global tone control for the passive circuit. Customize your sound further with the Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ, featuring Boost and Cut for the Mid Control that are each centered on slightly different frequencies—an innovation that delivers a preset range of the most favorable bass tones. Additional appointments include an MR5S bridge with adjustable saddles for specific string spacing, a 3-way Mid frequency switch to change the mid-tone between 250, 450, and 700 Hz and a hardshell case.

Ordered this with some concerns that the stock pickups are not easily replaceable so if I didn't like the stock sound I'd be very limited as to what I could do about it. Straight out of the box it was set up perfectly! It plays and sounds absolutely awesome! I've owned and or played quite a few other multi scale basses, Spector, LTD, Dingwall and I've gotta this is right up there and exceeds a few of them in quality. And at a decently lower price point that any of the others the bang for buck is really there with this one!

A reviewer said that the ibanez btb805ms multiscale bass has a scale of 35 inches. This is a multiscale bass. Is the correct scale 37 inches on the low B string to 34 inches on the G string. If the scale range is 34-37"' then I'll get one.
The range is 35" - 37"submitted3 years ago
