Ibanez

collapse expand iconDescription

Ibanez has added a new addition to its MINI pedal lineup with the Flanger MINI. Modeled after a vintage Flanger sound, the Flanger MINI delivers pro-quality tones in a compact box.

Made in Japan, the Ibanez FLMINI features three control knobs: depth, regen and speed. A true bypass switch provides the shortest, most direct signal path, as well as the cleanest possible sound. The 100 percent analog circuitry offers amazingly natural-sounding tones. The FLMINI is a classic, warm and full-sounding Flanger pedal that takes up minimal space on your pedalboard.

Seems most flangers are derived from the EHX Electric Mistress, which used 18 volts. Lots of the spin-off 18V flangers don't have a battery option, which might present a problem on a majority-rules 9V pedal board. Space on my board's getting tight. Ibanez's (9V, no battery option) tiny form fits--a major factor in my decision to go with that brand. This flanger also has surprising heft. Weighty for its size. This inspires confidence. Buy one and be happy.
