The mahogany neck features a 14th fret neck/body joint and a rosewood fretboard. Gold hardware and classical tuning machines. built to last

i purchased this guitar some time ago when i was beginning to learn to play guitar. i was looking to get a new guitar but since i was still a beginner, i did not want to spend to much on a guitar. the price caught my eye and since my friend who has been playing the guitar since the cradle was with me, i asked him to test it it out. He was impressed with the quality of the guitar both plugged and unplugged. so i got the guitar and now a year or two later i am still impressed with how the guitar performs. we even use for live performances and recording and it does not disappoint. this is a great guitar to get and it will keep up with you.

Bad sound - Frat is cutting my finger

I just bought this guitar (made in China, I don't know if they are always made in China)... Don't buy it. It doesn't have a good accoustic sound ( I didn't have the chance to test it plugged yet). The sound has no "body", it fades away quickly, it also has a funny buz which does not seem to be related to the frats, finally some strings do touch the frats even when you adjust them. I would return it based on the above, but worst of all some of the frats are like blades (as a very small and sharp part of the metal if sticking out of the guitar arm), when I move my left hand to change chords or do a solo it cuts the bottom of my index finger. first it was just cutting the skin and I kept playing to see if the buz and all would go away, but now it really cut me... Don't buy it... put $50 or $100 more and buy a better guitar.

Electronics is installed very badly, the cable tie with double tape fell on the first day. Fret Bars are not filed properly, sticking out sharp, they can easily cut your fingers.

I'm an intermediate player but hadn't had a nylon string in my collection. Sounds even better than the classical guitar given to us in my high-school guitar classes

I bought an "Open Box" offer which, from what I can see, means that the guitar was taken out of the box and played. There are no scratches or blemishes, it looks like 'straight from the factory". For the price this is a really nice nylon string guitar. The neck is narrower than a classical guitar so it is easy to adapt from playing my metal string guitar. The thin body is nicer than a classical or auditorium size for playing but still has good sound acoustically. Plugged into my amp the sound is great. The built in tuner is a plus and the pre-amp controls are very good (Bass, Treble and volume). For the price it is a really good guitar for the amateur player, no need to splurge on an expensive guitar for the non-pro.

I own 5 guitars. I play this one more than my Strat, Tele &. 2 Les Paul's combined. Why? Got a bad back & can only play an hr max sitting upright. With this thin line I can lay back in my lounger & play 4 hrs. Has an excellent deep tone 4 a thin line. Holds tune & the built in tuner is accurate 2 +/- 3-5 cents. Had 2 make some mods 2 the nut (grooves cut 2 deep) & saddle (vibrated) but everything else was good. Nice having both XLR & 1/4". Use it a lot on recordings to fill in rhythm w a "warm" sound. Also for a classical sounding leads. It does drop out around A2 (could b strings) when recording digital but not acoustic. Get a very rich voice from it using a Neuman 102. I owned 2 Ramirez cutaways. This is far from them but u would hav 2 add a zero 2 the price 2 get that sound. For what u pay, this is money well spent. I hav a pretty high end home studio but I spend most of my time in my lounger playing this thing into the voice recorder on my iPhone working out progressions, creating backing tracks & dinking around with leads. Can't beat being comfortable

No it isn't. Classical guitars typically don't have truss rods as the strings pull much less tension than steel.
