Ibanez Flamed Maple Top for Bright, Focused Tone
The flamed maple top of this nylon-string guitar not only adds visual appeal but also contributes to its tonal clarity. Known for its dense grain structure, maple produces a tight and bright sound that enhances the guitar's responsiveness. This tonewood is particularly effective for fingerstyle playing, where precise articulation is critical. Combined with the thinline body design, the flamed maple top ensures a balanced tonal output that is both dynamic and clear, making it ideal for players seeking a focused and articulate sound.
Sapele Back and Sides for Warm Tonal Depth
Sapele wood is used for the back and sides of this classical guitar, providing a complementary tonal warmth to the brightness of its maple top. Sapele shares tonal characteristics with mahogany, offering a full-bodied midrange and subtle high-end shimmer. Its durability also makes it a reliable choice for a guitar that will endure frequent use. The combination of sapele and maple creates a balanced tonal character, blending warmth and clarity to suit a variety of playing techniques and dynamic ranges.
Ibanez AEQ210T Preamp and Undersaddle Pickup for Amplified Precision
Featuring the Ibanez AEQ210T preamp and undersaddle pickup, this guitar delivers exceptional amplified sound. The undersaddle design accurately captures the natural tonal qualities of the instrument, while the preamp provides onboard controls for volume, bass and treble adjustments. A built-in digital tuner ensures quick and precise tuning, making this model ideal for live performances or recording sessions. With these electronics, players can customize their sound with ease, ensuring consistent and clear output in any amplified setting.
Thinline Design With Narrower Nut Width
The GA35FMTCE is designed for comfort and accessibility, featuring a narrower 46 mm nut width that caters to players transitioning from steel-string guitars. The thinline body and cutaway design reduce bulk, allowing for easy handling and access to higher frets. The walnut fretboard and bridge add a smooth, natural feel that enhances playability while transferring string vibrations effectively. Together, these features ensure an ergonomic playing experience that allows musicians to focus entirely on their performance.

Great sound and luscious looks

I played one that they had in the store and when I returned to buy it, it had already sold. But the tech said they could order me one. So I asked for the flamed maple top version, and when it showed up I was wowed by the glamorous appearance. This is a great looking and great sounding guitar. For those wanting that mellow nylon string sound, it's a fantastic option. It's a bit quieter unplugged than a full size classical, but has a full, balanced sound that's perfect for my apartment. Plug it in and get ready for a full, rich stage ready sound. The spectacular looks don't hurt either, it looks like a much more expensive guitar. The thin body and narrower fretboard make for easy playing for those accustomed to electric or steel string guitars. I'm totally impressed.
Beautiful guitar & sounds great for the price range

Wanted a nylon classical for quite a while and when this came up on sale, I took the plunge. First off, it is beautiful. The thinline design is very comfortable to play ( think electric). The sound does suffer a bit when unplugged, but when you amp up, watch the F out! Great amped sound. Incredible highs and lows. Total transformation. Great addition to my stable!
