collapse expand iconDescription

The Ibanez GIO GRG120QASP Electric Guitar delivers metal-approved tone and playability for guitarists on a budget. Part of Ibanez's GIO series, the GRG120QASP is constructed with a maple neck and purpleheart fretboard for bright tone and smooth playability. Equipped with dual Infinity R humbucker pickups, this ax pumps out tight, high-output distortion suited for heavy genres. Engage in divebombs and whammy tricks using the GRG120QASP's T102 tremolo bridge.

Dual Humbuckers Provide Fierce Distortion

The GRG120QASP comes loaded with a set of Infinity R humbuckers for a range of fierce, high-output tones. From chunky rhythm chugs to blistering leads, these pickups deliver full-bodied distortion with excellent note clarity—even under heavy gain. A 5-way selector switch lets you toggle between the neck pickup, bridge pickup or both pickups together for a variety of tones at your fingertips.

Fast Maple Neck and Purpleheart Fretboard

The GRG120QASP features a fast-playing maple neck and purpleheart fretboard, ideal for shredding and technical playing. Jumbo frets make it easy to bend notes and facilitate smooth position changes across the fretboard. A thin, flat neck profile gives this guitar a familiar feel for most rock and metal guitarists. The eye-catching purpleheart fretboard provides a stylish esthetic in addition to rich, warm tone.

Tremolo Bridge for Divebombs and Whammy Tricks

Engage in serious divebombing and whammy tricks onstage with the GRG120QASP's T102 tremolo bridge. This bridge features a 10.5mm string spacing, allowing for easier picking across strings. The T102 tremolo also provides a comfortable arm position and smooth, responsive action for warbling notes and other whammy effects.

Stunning Looks at an Affordable Price

The GRG120QASP is a great choice in its price range, with an eye-popping quilted maple top and flawless polyurethane finish. Its lightweight poplar body provides comfort and resonance. All this at an accessible price thanks to Ibanez's dedication to high quality and value. The GRG120QASP proves you don't have to spend a lot to land an ax that looks, sounds and plays like a dream.

This is a really good electric guitar, it might need to be tune sometimes but it's easy to tune and the pickups are super good quality.

the bridge literally popped out after 3 days of playing for a bout 20 minutes a time. Goes out of tune every minute as well.

I bought this guitar too learn how to play. The price range was spot on, and the guitar is a solid build. Once i had it set up at Guitar Center, which id strongly recommend, i started playing.

I have had this guitar for about a year and it came in great condition, no complaints about that. But since then it's really started to break down on me. The pickups are fine tone wise, but the knobs give me fuzz whenever I turn them, and the input jack is screwed. I don't understand how it got this way cause I have been very gently with it. The reviews everywhere on this guitar were kind of deceiving cause all of them said it was a nice solid durable guitar. If you're wanting a guitar that will last, I wouldn't go for this one.

I have been playing guitar for 27 years and have several high end guitars (Les Paul, Strat, Tele) and just wanted something fun to "shred" on for jamming and practicing. This guitar is that and much much more. While it is definitely not a high end guitar it will blow you away for the money. I would highly recommend it! It is also a beautiful guitar!

i bought this for myself about 5 months ago and i love it, its got great tone, its lightweight compared to other guitars, the pickups sound amazing, my only problem is that the strings would go out of tune quickly when you use the whammy but after a month or two of playing it won't be as big of an issue
