The rugged shell of the Ibanez MR500C Roadtour case protects your guitar from dents, scratches, dust and water. Inside, MR500C features a special mold design for accommodating many of Ibanez’ bolt-on electric guitars and left-handed models. Moreover, the MR500C Roadtour case can even fit 7-string, 8-string and even 9-string models. The MR500C comes with its own Ibanez tool case and can be securely locked up while flying or traveling with it TSA-approved lock.

    An excellent choice of hardshell case for the transport of insurable and/or regular instruments. Good looking interior and exterior. Good construction and materials. If you need a case that can accommodate a guitar of 39" + then this one's for you. Bonus if you get one w/zippercase!

    It fits my RG9, RG8, 6-string RG's and Charvel DK. However surprisingly a Fender Strat doesn't fit (the left horn is too thick). Still it is a very versatile, well-made case. If you have various Ibanez solid-body guitars this is the one to get.

    I needed a case for my '96 Talman TC630, and it fits quite well into the MR500C; I suspect it will fit the newer series Talman models as well. It's a little pricey for a case, but it's well-made, and even comes with instructions. A case with instructions?! What will they think of next!? It even fits my PRS SE Custom 22! I made a youtube vid for this, just search "NEW Ibanez MR500C "Roadtour" Guitar Case (ABS plastic with TSA latches)" so you can take a closer look. I think I managed to add it to this review. Godo case, made by Road Runner, possibly a subsidiary of SKB? Better than Gator cases any day, better than most other Ibanez-branded stuff. Buy it.
