One of the most reconizeable names in jazz since the '70s, Pat Metheny has worked with a plethora who's who of jazz greats, in the process becoming one himself. Ibanez has collaborated with the wild-haired fret wizard to create the beautiful PM Pat Metheny Signature Hollybody Electric Guitar. It features a PM mahogany set-in neck with maple top, back, and sides, plus a bound ebony fretboard to give you smooth, sweet tones. Aesthetically, the gold hardware, pearl and abalone inlays, f-holes and PM tailpiece pair beautifully with the natural woodgrain and curves of the top for a truly classy instrument. Other accoutrements include a Gotoh GE103B bridge, Silent 58 (H) neck pickup, and Volume and Tone controls. Includes a hardshell case.

      Exceptional instrument. Great sound plugged and unplugged (if you want that Joe Pass Virtuoso sound). This guitar just made me want to play everyday. Also what a beauty!

      I usually don't write reviews for products I purchase but I'm making an exception for this guitar because I really love it! Over the years I have tried many different guitars and currently own some other very good ones. When I received my Ibanez PM-200 though I fell in love with it immediately. It's sound exceeded my expectations and the playability is fantastic. The quality of the instrument is exceptional and even the beauty is top level. With the Ibanez PM-200 I have rediscovered the joy of playing a great guitar. I would definitely recommend it to anybody else.

      Consistent, dependable, exceptional playability and sound. Rock solid every single day regardless of weather, temp, travel, etc. Not finicky like many hand carved guitars that sell for 2x-10x the price.
