Description
The Ibanez PS3CM Paul Stanley Signature electric guitar features a strong 3-piece maple neck that provides an enriched resonance. The ebony fretboard produces tight lows and midrange with a strong attack in the high end and features a quick response and rich sustain. The ebony fretboard is also equipped with medium-sized frets that enhance the accuracy of your notes. The frets also get the Prestige Fret Edge Treatment, which guarantees effortlessly fast playing. The Ibanez Paul Stanley Signature electric guitar is constructed from African mahogany, which delivers a rich mid-low end, and has a maple top that sonically enriches the response while picking. The Paul Stanley Signature Ibanez is equipped with Seymour Duncan '59 model and Custom 5 pickups that provide balanced and warm tones.
Special features of the Paul Stanley Signature electric guitar include the “Cracked Mirror.” Ibanez obtained Stanley’s original guitar and was able to faithfully recreate the original “Cracked Mirror” top with acrylic pieces, reproduced by hand, one piece at a time.
Other features include Gotoh machine heads that provide superior precision, a smooth feel, and excellent tuning accuracy. Additionally, the Gotoh GE103B-T bridge improves sustain and tuning stability. Meanwhile, the stable Gotoh GE101Z-T tailpiece holds your strings in tune. An Ibanez hardshell case is included to provide extreme protection for your instrument.
With a larger-than-life stage show and some of the most iconic rock anthems, KISS climbed to the top of the charts during the 1970s and became one of the biggest acts in rock-and-roll history. In 1976, the band’s frontman, Paul Stanley, was approached by Ibanez to collaborate on a signature guitar that would become the iconic instrument he’d forever be associated with. In 1977, when Stanley and Ibanez sat down to create his signature guitar, it was to be a totally unique design. However, while perusing through the Ibanez catalog, one guitar in particular caught Stanley’s eye—the Artist 2663. Later to be known as the “Iceman,” the Artist wasn’t exactly a popular model at the time, but Stanley was intrigued by its asymmetrical shape and unusual body style and decided this would be the template for his signature instrument: The PS.

Why is it so expensive? I mean it doesn't look all too special
The Ibanez Paul Stanley Signature Cracked Mirror isn’t just about looks—it’s a handcrafted, limited-edition, artist-signature instrument that blends luxury materials, iconic history, and niche craftsmanship. Here's a breakdown of what you're really paying for: Real Glass Mirror Top Unlike a printed or plastic top, this guitar uses real mirrored glass that’s hand-cut and inlaid to achieve the "cracked mirror" effect. Each piece is individually set and polished, a labor-intensive process rarely seen outside boutique custom shops. 2. Artist Signature + Collectibility This model replicates Paul Stanley’s iconic guitar from the KISS dynasty era—a piece of rock history. It’s not just a guitar—it’s a signature artist edition tied to one of the most recognizable frontmen in rock. Limited runs and collectibility drive up both price and long-term value. 3. Premium Build & Specs Made in Japan (FujiGen or equivalent custom shop) with exceptional QC and attention to detail. Features include: Mahogany body Ebony fretboard Gibraltar bridge and tailpiece Seymour Duncan pickups (often Custom 5 or ’59s) Aged chrome hardware and ornate inlays These components are top-tier and costly even on their own. 4. Prestige & Niche Appeal You're not just buying a guitar—you're buying a statement piece. It's aimed at players and collectors who want something visually stunning, historically iconic, and built to stage-worthy spec.
