Ibanez

collapse expand iconDescription

The RGRTBB21 is an RG Iron Label baritone electric guitar and one the most recognizable and distinctive guitars in the Ibanez line. Three decades of metal have forged this high-performance machine, honing it for both speed and strength. Whether you favor a hardtail (fixed) bridge or Ibanez's coveted locking tremolo system, the RG Iron Label Baritone electric guitar is a precision instrument. The RGRTBB21 features neck-through construction and a reverse headstock.

The RGRTBB21 is equipped with DiMarzio Fusion Edge pickups. Through close collaboration between Ibanez and DiMarzio, Fusion Edge pickups have been engineered to produce a powerful, distinctive tone with a crisp, cutting high end, and a tight, compressed bottom end, minus any muddy mid-range.

Handles every tuning I have thrown at it. Super light yet feels quite resonant and whole. The matte black finish is immaculate and the pickups look and sound great. I saw some buzz online about needing to replace the pickups and that is NOT true IMO…perhaps those people need better gear to pair it with? Sounds great on my EVH 5150 III through a decimator 2 into empress heavy—>10 band EQ—>another decimator 2 I love this guitar DJENT/THALL/THRASH/DEATH/PROG clean it sounds great

  • Strings not going through tuners

A lot of people have been saying they cannot get larger string gauges on. For some reason the tuners are installed reversed (the 3 tuners for the larger wound strings are so low, you cannot get the string through the hole). All it took was to remove the tuners and reinstall them with the 3 higher post tuners for the larger strings. An easy 2 minute job.
