Great budget friendly earbuds
The JBL tune flex are one of the best budget friendly earbuds that you can get at this time in my opinion. The earbuds sound great and have goid bass. The trick is to try on the different ear tips to see which soud you prefer and to see how much sound you want to let in from the outside world..I also like that you can listen to either earbuds by themselves without one having to be the slave. Also the call quality is pretty good .You get alot for the price. The only thing i dont like is that the case is really slippery to me .Other than that i think they are great.Don't forget to download the App.

May be IPX4 and suitable for workouts, but...
These True Wireless earphones has IPX4 for intense workouts, but make sure you don't immense yourself during heavy squalls and/or go scuba diving with these, as these aren't appropriate for scuba diving. For optimal noise cancelling and deep detailed JBL-quality sound, keep your ear tip settings at "open ear tips" on the JBL Headphones app, which are required to optimize the JBL Tune Flex. It will work with "Sealed Ear Tips" but don't expect wind noise reduction with that "switch". I had to play "Broken" by Seether from their album "Disclaimer II" (Courtesy of Wind-Up Records, distributed by Sony) and two versions of "Calm Agitation" (Zankuro's Theme from the video game Samurai Shodown IV: Amakusa's Ascent--called "Samurai Sprits" in Japan by SNK, music by SNK Sound Team) a couple of times just for the sake of this review. Obviously the JBL Tune Flex works BEST using the "Open Ear Tip" setting on the JBL Headphones App. So in order to get the best possible audio, you will have to use the desired "Open Ear Tip" setting because these ear tips aren't closed-ear. In fact these have strict JBL Headphones App setting requirements for the best enjoyment possible. So unless you're used to "open ear" earbuds, then these aren't for you, as often closed-canal earbuds are better for JBL Newbies. These truly wireless earbuds were meant for the intermediate JBL product user and "jocks" who don't mind some background noise during their workouts. There are more beginner-friendly JBL headphone offerings as these aren't for JBL newbies.

These headphones do not stay in your ears when running or jogging. I've tried all of the supplied ear buds and they won't stay in. Not for runners.

My wife got these as a present for our anniversary. This is the worst pair of wireless head phones I've ever had. They stay connected to your phone even when in the case which if you don't notice will just drain the battery, and forces you to just turn your Bluetooth off. The ambient noise canceling doesn't do much of anything. Lastly even if you turn off all the motion controls such as the tapping the ear phones to pause or skip song, completely turn them off in the settings, if something is pressing them for longer than about 10 seconds or so it will disconnect them completely and will have to completely restart the connection process in the app. So good luck using them if you lay on your side for exercises or your headphone is touching your pillow. I dislike these so much. Only reason for two stars is because the sound quality and adjustable settings are great.

I bought these to replace my lost Raycons and these are easily the worst earbuds I've ever had the misfortune to use. They do not fit, they hurt to use, touching the earbud activates random functions on the earbuds themselves, they do not seal to your ear so you can hear everything around you, the audio quality is terrible. Just a horrible product. I've used JBL earbuds in the past and I am deeply disappointed by this product. The only thing keeping me from throwing it in the garbage is the egregious amount of money that I spent on them.

The right ear bud stopped charging after 5 weeks. The left one is still good.
