My sales rep was great, so this was not his fault. At G.C. you have to buy to try. Still, I was excited about buying 2 of the new PRX 935 3-way speakers, which meant trading in my PRX 835s. The 835s have been unbelievable with no issues for 5 years. I have a working rock & roll band. So why trade them in? JBL claimed these would be even better-sounding. WRONG! They are horrible!! The best way to test PA speakers is to start with a piano due to covering all the frequencies. So I set up my Yamaha YC 88. I was shocked at the horrific sound compared to my 835s and my EV ETX 15s. Also, JBL used absolutely NO PACKING MATERIAL, so one was badly dented!! I immediately rushed back to GC and got my PRX 835s back. NO BAND should ever buy these!! May work for a low-level DJ, but they are way overpriced, so they are useless. I may never buy from JBL again after all the false promises they made on these bush league speakers. Such a waste of time.
