Jackson

collapse expand iconDescription

The Jackson JS Series RR Minion JS1X is a high-performance electric guitar that puts legendary Jackson tone and playability into an easy-traveling instrument. Designed for shredders of all sizes, this 2/3-scale guitar has a poplar body and bolt-on maple neck that provides stability and sustain. The amaranth fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets gives you space to unleash your chops.

Speedy Neck and Fingerboard

The RR Minion JS1X's bolt-on maple neck and 12" radius amaranth fingerboard are built for velocity. Amaranth, an exotic wood with a smooth feel, allows your fingers to glide across 24 jumbo frets. Graphite reinforcement rods provide stability and durability. An angled neck plate and rear-angled headstock create even string tension, reducing fatigue during long practice sessions or gigs.

High-Output Pickups

Dual Jackson high-output humbuckers produce a powerful sound with articulate highs and tight lows. Three-way switching lets you select neck, bridge or both pickups together for a range of tones from bright and cutting to thick and heavy. The pickups' hot output and broad frequency response handle high gain and distortion with clarity and focus.

Durable Bridge Anchors Your Sound

The RR Minion JS1X has a string-through-body hardtail bridge that anchors your tone and enhances sustain. The bridge is made of durable materials built to last. Combined with the guitar's solid poplar body, the hardtail bridge helps produce a resonant sound with rich harmonics.

Road-ready and gig-worthy

Despite its compact size, the RR Minion JS1X is a true professional-grade instrument ready to take on the road. It features a poplar body, string-through-body hardtail bridge and black hardware including die-cast tuners and a classic Strat-style jack plate. While a case is sold separately, the guitar itself is built tough to handle the rigors of frequent gigging and practicing.

I've always wanted a flying V! The neon green is awesome, there is some fret buzz, but this is my favorite guitar I have.

  • Great for starting, doesn't last for experienced players.

This guitar is great! For beginners. It's a great guitar to see if you like the hobby, being its it's cheap. HOWERVER, you should replace it after a while for a better guitar. This guitar is a taste tester for metal and grunge specifically. It is very dirty in a good way

  • Resembles Randy Rhoads A lot, its good

The playability is good and the feel on the frets are good when they are sanded down, the cons would probably be the pickups but can be upgraded, overall this is a pretty good guitar

  • I play this all the time, give it a upgrade and your good.
