K&M A-Frame Acoustic Guitar Stand

Description
The rubbery feeling non-mar thick coating that is on the Swiss steel frame of this stand is bonded to the metal. It is not a simple piece of rubber hose that can tear and fall or rot away. The Swiss steel frame is electrostatic powder coated for a beautiful appearance and maximum durability.
The side legs are 11-1/8 long and have rubberized feet on each end. The angles are all specially engineered to help prevent tipping of your instrument. Even when on a busy stage. The legs of the stand are adjustable to 3 positions (5-¾ wide, 8-5/8 wide and 11-1/16 wide to accommodate guitar size. The locking adjustment is by a button on the back.
The stand folds to a small size making it easy to transport. Weight 4.3 pounds. As with all K&M products this product is manufactured in Germany from high grade materials, has a five year warranty and is manufactured according to strict environmental protection standards (ISO 14001).

Musicians Gear A-frame Acoustic Guitar Stand
Great stand at a good price. This stand is very stable and simple in design. I have one for each of my acoustics. Works great with guitar in or out of a gig bag. I stored my six string acoustic on one of these with guitar in a gig bag for two years untouched. When I decided to play the six, it came out of the bag perfect and still in tune. Protect your hard earned instruments on one of these stands and never regret.

DO NOT BUY THIS STAND!!!!! ZERO stars if possible!
I ordered two of these stands for an upcoming tour...I figured, eh for 10 bucks, a simple design, how bad can it be? Well, let me tell you, I was so wrong... This stand comes with a sign on it that says "Not Intended for Guitars With Nitro Cellulous Lacquer FInish"..Guess what nearly 100% of the guitars sold by Guitar Center (or anywhere for that matter) are finished with? Yep, you guessed it...Nitro Cellulous Lacquer Finish!! That's like selling car rims that are not intended for rubber tires. Also, the piece that the back of your guitar rests on is a hard plastic. Not even remotely soft at all like any other stand in the world. I truly believe a guitar is just as safe laying on it's back on a hard floor. Yes, really. I mean, yes it's only ten bucks, but come on! Trust me, do not buy this, spend the extra couple dollars and get the "OnStage" brand A frame stand. I called GC's customer service, and the girl I spoke to was very nice and took care of me, So customer service gets 5 stars.. PS: I don't usually write reviews of products, but my mind is so blown by how useless this product is that I had to warn others.

Compact and durable. I bought my first one 25 years ago, I now have 5 of them. They are bit spendy, however you get what you pay for.

This K&M guitar stand is well built and very solid. I have a couple of other A-frame style guitar stands but they are much lighter and less sturdy when compared to the K&M stand. Overall this stand is more expensive than others but the solid build seems to be well worth the money.
