Kendrick Tube Guitar Amplifier Essentials Book

For a guy that is familiar with the basics (I've done a fair amount of mods to my Blues Jr.), this book really did a great job to walk me through every section of the tube amp components. I highly recommend it. Weber has plenty of little stories throughout the book based on his many years of experience. His very well explained details of the amp concepts and components along with his advice based on experience really paints a great picture of how to approach trouble shooting, modifying or designing an amp. He gives you practical methods to attempt and he explains the logic behind all of the functionality. I only wish he had a few more schematics in the book to visually explain some of his sub circuits. He does share some, but I like to relate to a schematic so that it clicks in my mind. To help me I kept a Deluxe Reverb and Blues Jr. schematic at hand while reading the book. I took plenty of notes along the way. This made everything click way better. I recommend doing this. Anyway I could barely put the book down because there are so many good nuggets in there. After you read the book you will be well equipped to handle most any amp project.
