This In-Line set of six Kluson tuning machines was formerly used on all vintage 6 in-line Fender Strat, Fender Tele, and many other models of Fender instruments. This Kluson tuning machine is also a direct replacement for all current reissue '50s and '60s Fender production and Fender signature series that use a split post (safety post) vintage-style tuning machine. These are six individual tuners (that are not on a plate). All hardware including bushings and mounting screws are included in the set.

Please note: If you are retro-fitting a vintage instrument that has been modified or putting this vintage style guitar tuners on a modern instrument, you may also need to purchase "adapter bushings" (sold separately) to convert a larger size peg hole to vintage size to allow for proper fit and function.

These Kluson tuners are historically used on the following guitars:
1956 - 1964 Fender Telecaster
1956 - 1964 Fender Stratocaster
1958 - 1964 Fender Jazzmaster
1959 - 1964 Fender Custom Telecaster
1962 - 1964 Fender Fender Bass IV (6 string bass)
1962 - 1964 Fender Jaguar

    The orignal Kluson-STYLE tuners on my MIM Tele were junk, so I replaced them with the real deal. They're as smooth as you'd expect, no skips or drags. If you're lookin at em, you need em, so add it to your cart now!

    String Post Overall length including cap= 1 inch String Thru Hole ctr Height= 23/32 in. Comes with Kluson standard bushings. Uses same footprint as original stamped steel Kluson tuning machines

    They are not left and right handed.
