The KPX15 passive speaker bundle from Kustom delivers powerful, nuanced full-range sound in a portable and versatile package. Equipped with a 15" woofer and neodymium compression driver, the KPX15 reproduces your mix with punchy lows and articulate highs. A carefully tuned crossover network ensures frequencies are precisely divided for optimal clarity. Whether you're a touring musician, DJ or running sound at your house of worship, this bundle has the performance to elevate your gigs.

Detailed and Balanced Sound Reproduction

At the heart of the KPX15 is a powerful 15" woofer that delivers tight, chest-thumping bass down to 55Hz. A neodymium compression driver handles the high frequencies with pristine detail up to 20kHz. Kustom's proprietary crossover seamlessly blends the drivers together for a smooth, full-range frequency response. You'll experience a natural, nuanced mix with distinct separation between lows, mids and highs. Vocals and acoustic instruments project with lifelike presence, while drums and bass lines retain their punch and attack.

Versatile Connectivity and Positioning

The KPX15's dual 1/4" parallel inputs allow you to easily link additional passive cabinets for expanded coverage. Angled positioning at 30°, 60° and 90° gives you flexible options for using the KPX15 as a floor monitor or front-of-house speaker. A pole mount socket supports standard speaker stands, too. With its compact size and 150W power handling, the KPX15 is right at home reinforcing a solo acoustic act, DJ setup or as part of a larger PA system.

Built Road-Tough With Protective Road Runner Bag

Kustom built the KPX15 to withstand the rigors of nightly gigs. Heavy-duty metal grilles protect the drivers from drops and impacts. Reinforced plastic composite construction and rugged integrated handles ensure reliable performance for years to come. To safeguard your investment, this bundle also includes a Road Runner padded speaker bag. Its durable polyester exterior and interior padding shield the KPX15 from scratches, dings and the elements during transport and storage.

Compact Size and Mounting Versatility

Despite its powerful output, the KPX15 maintains a compact footprint that's easy to transport and position. At just over 40 lb., a single musician can load it in and out of the venue. The molded enclosure allows for three distinct tilt angles: 30°, 60° and 90°. A standard pole mount socket supports stand mounting for versatile positioning as a PA speaker or monitor. Whether you need focused coverage for a DJ booth or wide dispersion for a band, the KPX15 can adapt.

The Kustom PA KPX15 15" passive speaker is designed to handle a certain amount of continuous (RMS) and peak power. Based on Kustom's published specs: KPX15 Speaker Specs: Power Handling (RMS): 100 watts Power Handling (Peak): 200 watts Impedance: 8 ohms Speaker type: Passive, full-range. Your Amplifier: Crown Xs500 Power Output @ 8 ohms stereo: 500 watts per channel Total Peak Output: 1000 watts (500 × 2 channels)., Can You Use These Together? Yes, with caution. Here's what you need to know: The amplifier is significantly more powerful than the speaker can handle. Too much power = risk of blowing the speaker, especially if you're running the amp at high levels or into clipping. Keep master output and gain controls moderate. Use a limiter if possible, especially if you're driving loud program material. Avoid amp clipping — this can send damaging square waves to the speaker. Set amp levels to match the speaker’s limits (e.g., turn down the amp’s input gain or use an inline attenuator or speaker processor with limiters)., Peak wattage handling of KPX15: 200 watts Amp peak output per channel @ 8 ohms: 500 watts Conclusion: The amp is capable of overpowering the speaker 2.5x over its peak handling. Use with caution and level control to avoid damaging the speaker.
