The PA50 PA System from Kustom combines quality performance and convenient features, all in a highly portable package. You'll find that the PA50 works well in a variety of environments, amplifying vocals, instruments, keyboards, drum machines, audio devices and more.

The two 4.5" speakers and high-frequency driver provide just the right combination of high and midrange sounds. This balance ensures your vocals cut through the mix while minimizing harsh and unwanted frequencies. The PA50 construction is based on the same tried-and-true techniques as the rest of Kustom's speaker line. This includes a heavy-duty steel grille and rigid corners. This model also utilizes a high-frequency driver for crisp, accurate reproduction of treble frequency and articulate speech.

For the soloist or acoustic duo, the PA50 works well when positioned on a standard speaker stand. As your following grows, so does your sound system; multiple units can be connected to increase the sound coverage in your venue of choice.

Great for use as monitors!

I purchased two of the PA50s to use at gigs, where the stage does not allow space for floor monitors. I then bought speaker wall brackets that I attached to my existing large 18" 3-way JBLs. (Using lag bolts)Then, I suspend the PA50s on each JBL, (The PA50's have speaker top hats on the bottom for stand mounting. The brackets have the pole mount built in), pointing inward, as side fill. At chest level, it's perfect for monitors. It leaves open space on the small stages, and does a great job of being a fold-back system. On Large gigs, I point them outward, towards the audience, standing at extreme right and left. Or adjust them to be sidefill for very large stages. They work extremely well as monitor speakers. Going to buy another pair of PA50s and brackets, and mount the brackets on speaker stands, using muffler 'u' bolts / clamps, to hang them under the main speakers, on the tripod stand tube. Should work great for that set-up, as well.

Disappointing Sound Quality – Consider Alternatives

I purchased this product a couple of months ago for a small backyard gathering. From the start, the sound performance was underwhelming. The low mids were muddy, and while the highs were decent, overall clarity just wasn't there. If you're looking for better sound quality, I'd recommend saving your money and going with a powered Mackie speaker instead.

    Great little speaker but it is not intended to fill a large space. I recommend using one, maybe even two, with a Kustom 10 or 12 sub to get best results! I've used a pair with a small sub with a trio… three vocals, guitar, bass, and drums…works great! Be realistic!

    I need a personal PA that I can use with a guitar, a microphone , and a CD player (for backing tracks). It doesn't need to be loud, since it's for small venues (cafes, restaurants). With the PA50, I can plug in an acoustic-electric guitar OR the pedal board for electric guitar. I can switch back and forth easily during a gig, depending on what I want to play. And it sounds really good: rich, clear sound that fits my personal style perfectly. I recommend this!

    I am using it as stage monitor with my keyboard and accordion. I do like the volume control that I have and the highs and mids are coming out clearly. The lows well I did not expect too much, so I was not let down on then. I am considering another for practice very convenient to carry

    No, you cannot use both the XLR (mic) and 1/4" (instrument) inputs simultaneously on the same channel (Input #1) of the Kustom PA50. Each channel is designed to accept either an XLR or a 1/4" input, but not both at the same time. Plugging into both inputs on the same channel may result in signal interference or improper functioning.

    To daisy-chain two Kustom PA PA50 Personal PA Systems so they both play the same signal, you can use the Line Out on the first unit to send the signal to the Line In on the second unit. Here's how to do it: Connect your audio source (like a mixer, instrument, or mic) to the first PA50 using one of its inputs. Use a ¼" TS or TRS cable (instrument or balanced line cable) to go from the “Line Out” jack on the back of the first PA50. Plug the other end into a ¼" input (such as "Line In") on the second PA50. Set volume levels appropriately on both units. Cable You Need: 1/4" TS (unbalanced) or TRS (balanced) male to 1/4" TS or TRS male cable. I recommend 1/4" TS (unbalanced)

    The aux input on the Kustom PA PA50 will work for an electronic keyboard, but it's not ideal in terms of sound quality and control. Here's why: Pros: It works: The aux input accepts stereo unbalanced signals via 1/8" (3.5mm) TRS jack, so if your keyboard has a headphone or stereo line out, you can connect it directly. Quick setup: Simple and convenient for casual use or practice. Cons: No gain control or EQ: The aux input bypasses the main channel EQ and volume controls, limiting your ability to shape or balance the keyboard sound. Lower headroom: The aux input isn’t optimized for line-level instruments like keyboards, so the sound may be quieter or thinner compared to the mic/instrument channels. Mono speaker: While the aux input is stereo, the PA50 has a single speaker and sums the stereo signal to mono, so any stereo effects or panning from the keyboard will be lost.
