So, I have 2 of these cabinets. I removed the Kustom branded speakers from both and put in Celestions. Great little inexpensive and lightweight 1x12 cabinets. The speakers do not suit my taste, but with the new Celestions inside, they sound fantastic!

Great Speaker Cab

Bought this for my Peavey Classic 20 tube head. It really puts out and has a strong sound for rocking, tame for soft sounds, and sings with the blues. Reminds me more of a Marshall DSL tone with the amp head. Crank up the bass on the head and it really puts it out there. I use mine for home studio and jamming. Very much worth the low price for a 12" speaker. Speaker is made by Kustom and operates at 16 ohms.

I was looking for a great value on a 12" cabinet powered by my Orange Micro Dark amp head. I checked reviews on many cabinets and decided on the Kustom Defender 12" for it's price, rating, speaker and cabinet build. The Kustom is a great value for a compact speaker. The Micro Dark pushes the 30 watt speaker and I was able to get sweet spot sound in minutes. I'm using it for home studio but could easily use it live with the Micro for a small gig. Great Job Kustom!
