collapse expand iconDescription

The Kyser Quick-Change Capo for Classical Guitar, the premier capo designed specifically for classical guitars. Precision-crafted from aircraft-grade aluminum, this durable yet lightweight capo provides just the right amount of tension for nylon strings without pulling the guitar out of tune. Musicians will appreciate how the Kyser capo's spring-loaded mechanism allows for quick single-handed operation, securing the capo firmly in place to change keys in an instant while keeping intonation intact.

Perfect Fit for Classical Guitars

With its flat profile and wider clamping area, the Kyser classical guitar capo is perfectly contoured to fit classical fretboards. The non-marring pads protect the guitar's finish while preventing the capo from slipping, ensuring reliable performance for musicians on stage and in the studio.

The Kyser Quick-Change capo's innovative mechanism makes transposing effortless. Releasing and repositioning the capo takes just one hand and a quick squeeze, allowing musicians to change keys quickly between songs without interrupting their performance. An adjustable tension screw lets players customize the capo's grip to their guitar for optimal pressure and tuning stability.

Easy to use, great looking

I have used this capo for over a year. It is very easy to attach, and with one hand - and it is very good looking, particularly on a classical guitar. I have bought 3 more as gifts for friends.

Not the most reliable

I've had this capo for about a year now, and somehow it's become bent out of shape and will no longer work on my guitar. It worked well for awhile, but it's recently become unusable - it doesn't press down on all 6 strings completely anymore - and it actually left a mark on my acoustic as well. It was a pretty good capo while it lasted, though.

Use this on my acoustic steel strings as well as electric guitars. My guitar repair tech thought I was crazy when I told him I prefer the classical capos. Less tension and it does not pull the strings sharp like the other capos do. Def recommend these capos.
