I've been a professional audio engineer for a little over 23 years and was looking for another brand of wedge or active system to deploy for smaller events of up to 200 people or so. I went to my local dealer in the Bay Area and he was out of stock on the QSC k12.2 but told me about these LD icoa12 that he just received not long ago. So, I Purchased two of these 8 months ago and since then one of the speakers amp module went out of me, ok they replaced it, then in the middle of another corporate event it started producing a loud static noise from the drivers, I quickly switched the cable and that didn't help, changed the settings and nothing helped. Took it back and they ended up replacing the module again. Then same thing happen on the other speaker and the HF driver went out and I never once pushed these to their limits, not even close! Ive had my Yamaha DZR, Turbosound TFX and K12.2 for well over 4 years and drive them a heck of a lot harder than these and they never left me stranded. Certainly left a bad taste in my mouth. I would steer away from these and just buy yourself a JBL, QSC, turbosound, etc…. And to make matters worse, the other speaker and amp module have been at the dealer for exchange for nearly 2 months now and they don't know when they will receive the components to repair it!! Horrible.

heavier than some others but certainly manageable but the weight makes the sound unbelievable better! The sound has more punch, more bass and louder than the other ones in class. I tried and owned them all. DJ here in Chicagoland

I demoed so many speakers in this price range, and I'm glad these were recommended to me. They are by far the best in their price range. Built so much better than other choices and the sound is huge. It's my go to mobile DJ box, and the bluetooth is a great feature to have. I'm on a tight budget, so these ICOA's are great for me.
