Excellent
This PA system is quite incredible. I am not going to say it's the best out there because I would not know. However, I have compared it to other more pricey brands and for the price, it's a great deal. Sound is great, easy to assemble and disassemble and best of all very light (~ 25 lbs). My only concern is how durable it is. Time will tell since we just started using it at gigs. Although it's designed in Germany, it's made in China....for what that is worth..... I'll come back to this post if there's something negative to report in the future..

I Can't Believe that this DIED only after 6 Low Volume Gigs!
Since Guitar center didn't put in my first unfavorable review, I'll get straight to the point. It blew out completely after 6 performances at a NOT AT ALL Loud pizza restaurant! (about 50-75 people) ridiculous!! I played my keyboard through it and sang. It had sounded good, up until that point that it just STOPPED working and shut off. I checked power, connections and anything else you could think of. This is very unreliable! There is NO reason that this should just die the way it did. NO EXCUSE! I am using the new Harbinger MLS900 line array. I have yet to play out with it but it has great sound, gets very loud, and is a definite improvement over the previous model. Thank you Guitar center in Spartanburg, SC, for making this happen.

Moots Family And Friends, is a group I have that sing karaoke at local nursing homes and church's. My 1st system was a Gear-One 2400, great sound but just a little heavy for an old man. The Maui 5 only weighs 25 pounds and has much better sound. We also sing in local nutrition sites, I get lots of complements on our sound system. I run a Mackie Pro12 mixer ahead of my speaker and that gives us lots of options. This is a great value with lots of options.
Great little unit at a decent price

Excellent product for solo or small group. No effects onboard. So if you want reverb get a small mixer with effects. No problems with feedback and uniform sound in a wide dispersion pattern. About half the price of the l1 compact and works as good if not better.
Awesome sound and value
