LP Guiro Scraper

Like another review I read, I didn't know how much more sound you could pull from a guiro until getting this Scraper! I have a low-priced CP wood guiro that came with a smooth wood scraper that barely cuts through recorded music. This multi pronged scraper allows tons of expression either by using it flat and rubbing all seven tongs for maximum volume, or just one or two for more control or unique sounds. Something else is that it has some weight to it, which allows a great "feel" in your hand, but it's not too heavy. Surprisingly inexpensive pro addition to my "percussion box" that really makes a difference in sound and feel for much stronger cut and expression! The sound difference is like night and day! I'm a drummer not a percussionist per se, but I put down my sticks and will actually use my guiro now!

Durable, comfortable and economical

Definitely a big step up over the stick that is packed with the guiro. The scraper produces a much wider variety of sounds that cannot be derived from just using the stick. If you are getting a guiro spring for the scraper.

Although the item was small - it was important. It arrived quick after the order was placed at my local GC. Who doesn't need a guiro scraper? Word! Thanks!
