I bought these timbales with the expectation that they will hold up for years to come. The quality is there and believe I will have these well into the future. The sound quality of the cascara as well as the heads are authenically great. The cascara is not tinny but crisp, loud and warm. I am very pleased with this purchase.

The sound of these timbales is sweet like nectar. They cut with power yet provide warmth the way only bronze can. The shell is an authentic mid-range, non-tinny sound for a nice, balanced cascara. Once you play these, you'll never want to play anything else. In fact, you may take a few more solos. The stand is sturdy, the bell does not swivel. No complaints. If you can afford it, get it.
