Use these for percussion on a variety of tunes. Crisp clear sound, good quality
I am buying these again

I lost my pair of these claves at my local drum circle. I am definitely buying these again even though they are 3x the price as some of the other ones. They are nice and loud, have great tone and are able to cut through the rest of the drums. I can easily control the pulse of the whole group(30 drummers) with just the two sticks
Best Modern Clave Set I Can Find

I have bought and returned a number of clave sets over the last few months looking for "that" sound. The King Cave set is as close as I can find. Ok, these don't quite sound like the Brazilian rosewood pair that I had 40 years ago but they're very close—so close I couldn't tell you they aren't on a recording. I did not have high hopes for resin impregnated fiberglas but I am happy to be wrong. Even happier about the price! Yes!
