This prewired electric guitar pickguard contains Lace Sensor Blue, Silver and Red pickups. The Lace Sensor pickup has been in production since 1985. Used exclusively by Fender until 1996, the Lace pickups prewired into this pickguard have the same specifications and the same great tone.

Lace Sensor Blue Guitar Pickup: Slightly increased output with the warmer '50s humbucking sound in a single-coil configuration

Lace Sensor Silver Guitar Pickup: A fat '70s single-coil sound with increased output and more midrange

Lace Sensor Red Guitar Pickup: The hottest output of Lace's Sensor Series; perfect for the bridge position when fat, punchy humbucking output is required
Postion: Bridge
Resistance: 14.5k
Peack Frequency: 1850
Inductance: 8.12 henries

    I owned a LACE sensor Blue on a Mexican strat I owned years ago. Staying home looking for a project, I added the LACE Red,Silver,Blue to my son's cheap strat clone. He's grown now and lived in Austria so this is my "fun" guitar and now it sounds great

    These pickups are great , they sound more thicker than your typical strat pickups. One feature I definitely liked was that the bridge positions tone can be adjusted with the second tone knob. the only problem i had was that I had to move the entire assembly to the guitars original pickguard since the holes did not align. these are awesome pickups and recommend them if you are looking for a hum bucking type tone for your strat.

    The pickups are great. The pick guard holes didn't line up very well with my strat so I had to swap out everything on my original pick guard with all of the new. Should've just bought only the pickups.

    Installing the Lace pickguard has changed my experience drastically as all the unwanted noise is gone . I truely sound like a different player and would recomend ( and have ) to everyone I know . I used to search the crybaby pedal looking for the ultimate " sweet spot " and now I hardly us the darn thing .
