I have owned and played some amazing instruments. My new LAG Tramontane is a fantastic guitar... The craftsmanship and finish of these guitars rivals Martin and Gibson guitars costing hundreds/thousands of dollars more. The satin finish and the neck of this guitar looks, feels and plays great... The guitar stays in tune, has a full rich quality when unplugged and the electronics are the best sounding of any that I have played... I urge anyone to pick one up and compare it to ANY guitar of it's price point and above. I put a fresh set of Elixir's on and 'Beast Mode' was accomplished...

  • An acoustic players dream.

I wasn't expecting that much for the price but boy was I surprised. This guitar doesn't have a lot of decorations but the headstock and rosette blew me away. You have to see it to appreciate it. Best I have ever seen on an acoustic guitar. And the sound was icing on the cake. The setup was perfect right out of the box. When I tuned it up the sound was more than I expected. The beauty of this satin box is incredible. The workmanship, fit and finish is as good as I have seen in 50 years of playing. Straight neck and perfect action. The sound is sweet and mellow and the intonation is dead on. The electronics are the best that I have played. It has the Astro-Lag electronics and not the ink-3 as listed in the specs. No way that I will part with this beauty. You could pay a whole lot more for another guitar and not beat this sound. The cedar top is very warm and mellow sounding. It has that soft sound and not as crisp as the spruce top guitars that I have. Excellent bass response, clean highs and an adjustable mid range control. The neck is thin and allows me to move up and down the neck with ease. Lag has really got it going on. If this guitar doesn't get listed in the top acoustics, it is because they haven't played one. They don't have enough stars to rate this one.
