Laney

collapse expand iconDescription

The Laney LFR-112 full-range flat response active 1x12 cabinet features a switchable cabinet emulation that allows you to add the frequency characteristics of a cabinet of your choice to your DI-Signal without the need for miking a cabinet. The Tilt Mechanism is an extremely useful folding tilt back mechanism that’s designed to give you the optimum onstage sound. Most amplifiers throw sound past the players legs, but with a Tilt Mechanism you can choose to have the amp throw the sound up towards your ears, allowing you to hear yourself more easily when playing.

Full Frequency Flat Response Digital guitar rigs offers players an unparalleled degree of choice when it comes to their rig setup. In a digital world, virtually anything is possible. To make a digital guitar setup work live, you need a guitar cabinet and amplifier combination that faithfully recreates your studio sound—live and loud without adding any additional unwanted tonal content.

Apparently UPS lost one of the two cabinets I bought. They suck, 10 days to resolve, not GCs fault...Still waiting.....BUT the one I have sounds SO much better than powered JBL monitors. Fat, ful tone. I don't like the built in cabinet IRs and use the Fractals Cab/IRs instead. Tilt feature is great, and I can't wait for the other cabinet to play in stereo. Don't mess with plastic FRs, or monitors, if you have a Fractal THIS IS THE BEST WAY TO GO, I've been playing for decades, and I highly recommend the Laney LFR112. Sounds HUGE.

  • Great sound with Fractal

Pairs really well with my Fractal GM-9 Turbo. I was using QSC K12.2s prior to this, but I prefer the sound of the Laney--and really like the look of this cabinet as well. Happy with this purchase.
