I bought this with very high hopes since it has the Laney name and Tony Iommi uses Laney amps. I have tried this with both single coil and humbucker pickups using a Marshall JCM 1200. I've used an older Jackson Mini-Strat with Dimarzio humbuckers and an Ibanez RG550 Genesis both tuned to C#. I've also used a TC Electronics Reverb pedal. Thus far I have had no luck getting that classic Tony Iommi sound. The Catlinbread Sabra Cadabra is much closer. I can get closer just using a Boss Metal Zone. I'll keep working and maybe someone will have some good advice as well.

I had a Sabbra Cadabra pedal, and immediately bought this when I saw it was available; without having to buy it in an extremely expensive package with speakers from Laney. All I can say is that it is everything you want when you want to sound like the Riffmaster Tony Iommi.
