    just opened it. exactly what i wanted- a small guitar to play on the street. well made, good looking, smells nice. I'm sure it will take tone modifications just great.

    I ordered this item online and had it shipped to my house. The guitelele looked good, however, I noticed the saddle was sitting flush in the bridge and was leaning forward. I unloosed the strings enough to remove the saddle to discover the pickup wasn't flush to the sound board. I put the saddle back and tuned it up. Three of the strings buzzed like crazy. I also thought the fretboard width was a little narrow for six strings. I returned to my local GC that afternoon. The staff was great and ordered me another. Several days later, the replacement arrived. I eagerly opened it and the saddle was the same!! Very poor design Lanikai! Needless to say I returned this one too and decided to purchase the Islander GL6 with the pickup for about $100 more. So worth it!!
