Line 6 Powercab 212 Plus 500W 2x12 Powered Stereo Guitar Speaker Cab Black and Silver

Description
The Line 6 Powercab 212 Plus 500W 2x12 Powered Stereo Guitar Speaker Cab is an innovative cab delivering 500 watts of stereo power through custom neodymium coaxial speakers, providing guitarists with a robust, professional-grade solution for performing live. Available at Guitar Center, the Powercab 212 Plus is ideal for players wanting to achieve a full, dynamic tone when amplifying their instrument on stage.
Custom Speakers Provide Pristine Sound
At the heart of the Powercab 212 Plus are two custom 12" neodymium coaxial drivers that have been specially voiced to handle the power and frequency range of the amp. This powered cab provides speaker modeling modes that can produce any sound required to cut through live mixes. Their efficient design also allows the Powercab 212 Plus to achieve high SPLs without distortion, providing guitarists with a portable cab that can keep up in any live scenario.
500 Watts of Stereo Power for Immersive Sound
Delivering 250W per side in stereo and weighing just under 50 pounds, the lightweight Powercab 212 Plus gives guitarists a full 500W of power to work with. This allows for creating an immersive, three-dimensional tone on stage by panning effects and amplifying the guitar signal through both sides of the cab. Stereo power also provides more overall volume for larger venues.
Road-Ready Design Built to Withstand the Rigors of Touring
Designed with the needs of working musicians in mind, the Powercab 212 Plus features a rugged enclosure with durable construction to withstand the stresses of frequent transport and use. Its power amp and efficient speaker design allow for a more compact, portable form factor than traditional guitar cabs, making the Powercab 212 Plus easy to load in and out of venues. With its robust, road-ready build, this stereo cab is ideal for guitarists frequently performing live.

Shockingly Worth - Stage or Bedroom Excellence

I was on the fence about getting this when I got my Helix, but I didn't have any kind of FRFR output for the Helix: Just tube and solid state amps, none of which had an effects loop. I got it to fill the gap and it basically instantly became my favorite amp. It reproduces the Helix tones magnificently at any volume. Although it sounds best when it's tinnitus-level, it still sounds great at bedroom levels. It's about the same size as my Twin Reverb at half the weight. Build quality seems excellent, although I'm slightly concerned about the lack of corner protection. It was plug and play with the Helix and I've only just started to explore its capabilities. CAVEAT: There is no 1/4" instrument input jack so you're going to be connecting by XLR, L6 connect, or USB. BONUS: My PC and Mac recognize it as an audio output so I can enjoy YouTube backing tracks through it while I play along via Helix!

I use this with a Kemper Profiler and it sounds really, really good. Stereo effects sound wonderful with the width set to 140-150% and the built in speaker profiles are no joke. AES input doesn't work with Kemper and support is unhelpful.
I would but this item again...

Surprisingly better than two PowerCab 112s

I had been using two of the PowerCab 112 cabs with good results, but found the overall volume lacking. I spent a lot of time reading up on this and watching video reviews and decided to take the plunge when I had rewards points to spend. I have to say, after receiving the unit and hooking it up....WOW! It's wayyyyyy louder than two PowerCab 112's and not only that, but the stereo imaging you get coming at you sounds just incredible with stereo effects. I'm really very impressed and will definitely be using this to gig with. If you're considering the PowerCab 112, you should really check this out before you make a decision.
