Excellent protection for your gear
I was contemplating a Furman. Found this one with all the features for less. Well built and simple layout. The configuration of the outlets on the back make is easier to plug in a wall wort power supply for your pedals. Voltage display is easy to read, the LED to notify you of a grounded outlet is a plus. Nice bright LED lights to light up the rack with a three way toggle for OFF, High and Low light setting is nice, but I would have preferred a dimmer knob. All in all a nice piece for a budget minded musician wanting a rack mounted Power Conditioner.

Works, but questionable quality control
This product worked as my power conditioning system for a long time. The AC voltage input display gave out after a few months of use, but now works again somehow. The larger problem is that now the on/off switch is beginning to lose contact and arc power, causing my very expensive speakers to flicker on and off, which could potentially damage the circuit inside those speakers. This can also turn into a fire hazard if the connecting points in the switch get too burnt. The unit worked for about two years and the switch was flicked on and off on average once per day. If you ask me, 1,400 switch flicks before giving out does not meet quality control standards. Fairly disappointing that i now have to spend another few hundred dollars on a new unit, likely the same one.

I'm a DJ and this unit shut down my 10k worth of gear before it could get damaged. Two times already. The first time I ran my smoke machine and it over heated the wall, this unit shut it down before a fire or something else bad could happen. Second time also saved from power sag.
Mine is so noisy!

The LED voltage display is awfully loud - like wave your hand in front of your head and you hear the change type of loud. The LED lights, on both high or low, are deafening. In a machine room it could work, but I question what else it's emitting... It hurts my head when its near me.
Solid unit. 2 always on outlets nice touch

Had this unit for a few years, and it has been very helpful with my setup. But, both of the pullout lights stopped working, and I cannot find any replacement parts.
