Great for channel switching

I purchased a Vox AC15C1 amp. Great amp by the way, but does not have on board channel switching. Prior to purchase I was looking for an ABY switch to accomplish the channel switch. None that I saw online fit the bill for one reason or another. This Live Wire ABY was recommended to me by the salesperson and I'm glad he did. Solidly built pedal. Only needs 9 v (battery or adapter) to power the LED's. Bright blue LED's are very visible even in bright light. Capable of switching channels or using both channels together. Can also be used to connect 2 guitars to one amp as well. Quiet switching too. Am extremely happy I found this pedal.

Tone killer....

I bought this ABY pedal to toggle between two amps. One is a tube amp and the other a solid state. While the build quality of this pedal is good, it degraded my tone (on the tube amp). It seemed to remove the lows and highs from the signal path to the amp, leaving me with way to much mid-range. It also seemed to attenuate the signal to a noticeable level (less sustain/ring-out). It's almost as if the pedal was acting like a band-pass filter. It's possible that I got a bad pedal - but if that's not the case, I would not recommend this pedal to someone that is particular about their tone, and wants to preserve it. Sound wise I have to give this pedal a 2, and for build quality and functionality I give it a 5 ? hence my rating of a 3.

I needed an ABY switch for a wet/dry set up, and this has been working like a charm. There are other more expensive alternatives, but I don't need them because this fits the bill

I dont run wireless anymore so I use this on my pedal board when swapping basses. Works great. No noise, and nice bright LEDs. Not sure hiw long the batt last as its still going strong after 3 gigs.

This pedal works great for sending a signal to two different input simultaneously. I use it to split my guitar signal to two amps for a stereo effect. It works great!

Well, I wanted an active aby — associate said "95% sure this is active since you plug it in" I said "I really think that's just for the the LED, but I'll take your word for it. It'll come back if it's not active" I took it back because….. it's passive ITS A PASSIVE ABY BOX passive, not active
