Livewire

collapse expand iconDescription

Instrument cable with gold-plated Neutrik connectors, 100% oxygen-free 18-gauge copper core and braided copper shielding (95% coverage). Internal chuck strain relief, a sealed boot and a heavy PVC jacket provide rock-solid reliability in the studio or on stage.

One side of the cable is equipped with a contact button that completes the circuit in the cable so as to avoid that "pop" when you pull the cable out of a jack. It is most useful for guitar players. Livewire Elite Series represents the highest standard for pristine, transparent, uncolored audio connectivity in an exceptional rugged design for studio, stage or broadcast.

This is a quality cable. Especially if you frequently change guitars during a gig.

  • I would not buy this product again.

I have two amplifiers and one instrument cable. The cable that I have is not a silent cable, so I decided to make my second cable a silent cable. The first silent cable that I bought worked for two days. After two days of playing, the cable started to pop when being removed from both amplifiers. I returned the cable, because if it wasn't silent there was no need to keep it. I returned it for another silent cable. When I unplugged it from both amplifiers, it popped right away. Therefore, I returned it also and bought a regular instrument cable and had money left over for some acoustic guitar strings.

I got so interested in the silent part...that I bought it, and forgot I needed a right angle jack, so I haven't used it yet! Well, once, at my house, works great, and sounds good!

  • It's an instrument cable. I hear sound.

As advertised, this cable is indeed completely quiet. Just what I wanted whereas I normally like to switch between two guitars for long practice sessions. Thumbs up! 👍

  • The best cable I have ever owned
