I use this to connect an 18 volt to two pedals to get more performance out of them. The rest of the pedals connect to the standard 9 V.

We presently have a Yamaha MG32 Mixer hooked up with a Behringer P16i Inear monitor system. Now we want to add a Alesis compressor, Both require 1/4 inch insert on the mixer. Is this splitter something that we can use to incorporate this combination or is it more for headphones?
It is more for headphones.
